Delete your Bubbleton data

Bubbleton has no accounts or sign-in. Its online data is a random player id, a made-up name, scores and a copy of the game progress. Here is how to delete it.

Last updated 27 September 2026

Option 1: in the app (fastest)

  1. Open Bubbleton and tap Settings.
  2. Tap For grown-ups and answer the grown-up check.
  3. Under Your data, tap Delete my data.
  4. Read what will be deleted, tap Continue, then Delete everything.

If the phone is online, the data on our server is deleted straight away, then the game’s data on the phone is wiped and the game starts again like a new install. If the phone is offline, the phone’s data is wiped at once and the online data is deleted automatically the next time the game connects.

Option 2: by email (no app needed)

Email hello@61westlabs.co.uk with the subject “Delete my Bubbleton data” and include:

  • The player name shown in the game, for example “Jolly Otter 7” (on the Profile screen, or next to your score on the leaderboards). We have no email address or account to look you up by, so this is how we find the right player.
  • Roughly when you last played, and on Android or iPhone, if you know (it helps if the name has changed).

Please don’t send anything else (no photos, dates of birth or payment details). We delete the matching data and reply within one month, usually much sooner. If we can’t match the name, we’ll tell you and suggest using the in-app option.

If you only uninstall the game, the data on the phone is removed but the online data stays until you ask us to delete it, or until it is deleted automatically 24 months after the game last connected.

What is deleted

  • The random player id and install code on our server.
  • The made-up player name; it disappears from all leaderboards.
  • All scores and run replays, including a Daily Run “ghost”.
  • The cloud save (the copy of the game progress).
  • RevenueCat’s purchase record for the random player id: we ask RevenueCat to delete it at the same time.
  • With the in-app option, also everything on that phone: progress, gems, outfits, stickers, settings, play time and the age answer.

What is kept, and for how long

  • Encrypted backups: copies in our nightly database backups are deleted automatically within 30 days. We never restore deleted players from them.
  • Purchases: if the full game was bought, the purchase belongs to the Google Play or Apple account, and Google and Apple keep the receipts under their own policies and tax rules. The full game can be restored after deleting (Settings → Restore purchases); RevenueCat then sees it under the new random player id.
  • Server logs: a single line noting that a random player id was deleted, with no name or other details. Logs are overwritten automatically as new entries come in.
  • Your phone’s own backup (Google or iCloud backup), if switched on, may hold an older copy of the game’s saved progress and settings. The age answer, play time and break reminder are left out of these backups (backups made before 27 September 2026 may still include them). That backup is in your Google or Apple account; you can manage it in the phone’s settings.

If you do nothing

We delete Bubbleton’s online data automatically: run replays after 90 days, Daily Run scores 13 months after their day, and everything tied to a player 24 months after the game last connected.
